Deep Biswas
Co-Founder
Deep has experience as a Private Equity Investor and as a Consultant with Bain & Company, investing and advising across a variety of sectors including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, consumer health products, software / technology, and business services.
Prior experience includes conducting research at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Center for Prostate Disease Research, two leading research institutions.
Deep received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.
AbulKalam Shamsuddin MD, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer & Co-Founder
Dr. Shamsuddin was a Professor of Pathology for 43 years at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he conducted research in cancer prevention and early detection of cancer.
Dr. Shamsuddin developed a rapid test kit to screen for an altered carbohydrate, TF-antigen, present in many cancers and pre-cancerous lesions. This technology is the core of OncoVue’s screening technology. In addition, Dr. Shamsuddin oversaw the development and commercialization of IP-6, an anti-cancer agent that also offered other ancillary health benefits.
Dr. Shamsuddin, a Board-Certified pathologist also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and earned an M.B., B.S. (M.D) from Dhaka Medical College, University of Dhaka.
Siddharth Gorantla
Co-Founder
Sidd has prior experience as a Consultant at Bain & Company, advising clients on strategy and private equity investments across a range of industries including health insurance, software, business service, and industrials.
Prior to Bain, he spent time conducting oncology research at leading institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Sidd earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Rice University.
Scott Daubin
Board Advisor
Scott is a Partner at Bain & Company and leads their Healthcare and Performance Improvement practice interlock in the Americas as well as the global Integrated Business Planning capability.
Scott has more than 15 years of consulting experience across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Scott primarily advises clients with medical devices, pharmaceutical, and healthcare services sectors. He is an expert on integrated business planning, sustainability & decarbonization, cost improvement, supply chain optimization, and complexity management. His case portfolio also includes growth strategy, organizational design and merger & acquisitions diligence.
Scott holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in chemistry from Princeton University.
